What our supporters have to say about us...
"Minister Eric Smith, of "The Loving Care Center" comes to our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, "The Springs at Pacific Regent-La Jolla" every second Saturday of the month to run a poetry appreciation and creative writing course for our residents. This is a wonderful program which utilizes poetry to stimulate the resident's cognitive abilities and memories, and encourages them to put some of their own experiences in writing.
The program has been praised by many members of the resident council as an activity they look forward to every month, and Minister Smith has a great rapport with the residents, with a cheerful attitude and much patience for those with limited abilities." more

"Eric Smith was instrumental in providing a wonderful event at Torrey Pines Convalescent Hospital. I met Eric Smith when he visited a friend of his at Torrey Pines and offered his Loving Care Center to do visitation or a Religious Service. I asked him if he could visit several residents and if he could provide a Religious Service on the 5th Sunday of the month to minister to our Resident's spiritual needs. He did provide visitation to these residents who may not otherwise have had visitors to fulfill their need for social interaction and spiritual needs and is scheduled to do the 5th Sunday Religious Service through the year 2000." more
